Super Halo Advance 3: Combat Devolved

Never a big fan, but I did enjoy Halo 3 quite a bit. Here's the intro, sort or, after the Chief gets his ass out of that crater.

I initially started this out as an old school Doom-style FPS, but ultimately found I didn't enjoy doing it, and wasn't intimately familiar enough with the mechanical details of Halo to really render the weapons convincingly. I started to think about local multiplayer, and thought that something more like Commando or Smash TV would better capture the "spirit" of Halo, for me anyway.

Not completely happy with this one. I like the individual background elements quite a bit, though I'm not sure they come together convincingly. The HUD could also be better, I think.

This was fun, but I think ultimately I just not quite into Halo enough to REALLY do as much with this as I think I could.
