BAck in 09, I was fooling around with a 16-bit remake of Kid Icarus. It was a pretty ambitious project, so it didn't get to far, but I did manage to get a good deal of sprites and designs done before I gave up.

While I was flipping through some old notebooks I stumbled upon the new designs I had done, and decided that I should use them for something. Since I don't have the time to work with games anymore, I figured a mini comic would be best.

The first chapter is about 8 pages long, but this here is just the first. It's a loose adaptation of the NES game's plot, but with alot of expansion. There's some new characters and bosses, but nothing ground breaking.

I tried to incorporate some elements of Palutena's new design in without going totally overboard. The new art is gorgeous, but maybe a bit too complex...

Anyway, that's about it. Pit should be showing up in the next page, which I'll probably get around to doing sooner or later.
